Fundraise Genius brought in $12,944. And Venmo/cash provided dedicated donations of $1,290.
The MOD pizza fundraiser in October went well Panda National November fundraiser was a good success. New Light Industries open donation was a gift.
There is a discussion that the funds raised through Fundraise Genius and direct donations should be enough to cover all students for all fees for the Portland/ Vancouver Music 4 All trip, except food.
Matt campaigned for funds to be left over for the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and funds for instruments if the levy doesn’t pass in February.
Kary moved and Lisa seconded that all funds raised be used for students to attend Music 4 All for free. Due to the wording of the fundraise genius specifically indicating the Music 4 All trip. Motion carried.
After extended discussion, Kary made the motion to ask the students to pay $50. Plus meals toward the Music 4 All trip. Sandra seconded. Motion carried. This is an adjustment to the previous motion.
Amanda offered an opportunity for fundraising during the Gonzaga basketball games. Charlotte is going to contact Amanda. The majority of the IPG is interested in participating.
Matt asked if the Pipe Band can use the IPG bank account to fundraise. There was a discussion within the IPG. Our treasurer and the rest of the IPG is not comfortable with that. There was a tiny thought that we would charge them a service fee for managing the funds. The discussion ended with ‘No’. The decision was decided based on the risk of working with money.
