The car wash made $(redacted) and 20% was given to the choir. It was a great time of year and the students had a good time.
Matt is in the process of spending the grant money from WMEA, MANW Grant on sound equipment for the music department.
Uniforms - Sandra headed it up and Charlotte works from home, and has the opportunity to come in during class time. It is challenging to catch all the students fitted and set.
Two students requested scholarships for the uniform fees and a shirt/tie combo and a black shirt. The motion passed to accommodate these scholarships.
We are fundraising for: Western Washington University Orchestra Trip, the Band Trip to Montana?, and the Lionel Hampton jazz festival in Moscow. Possibly Music for All concert band festival? Possibly a tri-cities band festival, but it’s competitive.
Fundraising possibilities are: JJ’s taphouse, Movie night in the auditorium, Garland Theater fund raiser?, Whitworth pool can be rented,
In 2022, the parent booster group and the IPG each donated about $(redacted) and the kids paid $120/150 for the WWU orchestra trip.

Mr. Shadle is a spoof for guys in the vein of Lilac Royalty. Band is not involved.
