Square charges a fee for all transactions. Venmo doesn’t if it’s “paid between friends”.
Our tax exempt status was “automatically revoked” according to a letter in August 2023.

Music Check-in Night -
2 days were good. Smoother process than last year. Charlotte and Shannon followed up for 8 hours on Monday 9/11 to get the remainder of the kids fitted. We only have two students to still be fitted. 85 students were fitted the 2 nights. There are 115 students total. 10 students still need to pay.
Charlotte and Shannon worked hard to verify current students uniforms and pulled from former student uniforms. There are fewer that need to be ordered and a few more that need to be altered.
Car Wash 9/16 from 10-2pm -
Matt agreed to let the choir join us for the car wash. We discussed how to make the split of funds. The board agreed that there will be an 80/20 split band/choir. This is based on the IPG providing the planning, organizing, hot dogs, snacks, equipment and the bulk of the students available to participate.
Signs and Venmo sign have been made.
A discussion ensued about wether we would use Square. We decided that we will accept it, as a last option.
We made a list of supplies each person will bring. Hoses, buckets, sponges, brushes, soap. Easy ups, camp chairs, a table…
Recommend to kids to wear Shadle gear & shorts.
Shannon will work on tickets and incentives. The board agreed to $15. An hour x4 hours = $60 for incentives.
Charlotte is picking up food from Costco.
Charlotte will be on “food” and Shannon will be on “money”.
