President Intro: She has been in touch with Matt. The uniform cleaning has been done. New officers were voted on at the end of the 22-23 school year. Matt would like to have a Charms training on 8/23 at 5pm at SPHS.
Music check-in/ Uniform check-out days are 8/30 4-8pm & 8/31 3-7pm. Kary will work on the digital flyer in .jpg format. Then [email protected] Mr. Dunn is in charge of the website. There will be stations for students to rotate through for Charms registration, fittings, and payment for uniforms, link for buying white shirts and bow ties.
Fundraising: Restaurant Fundraising - Panda, MOD, Chipotle rotating months. Setup is all online. JJ’s is also a good option for restaurant fundraising.
Other fundraising - Matt’s goal for us is $5k.
Student participation for fundraising - incentive $20 gift card
Car Wash - Sat, 9/16, 10-2pm (tentative if the AQI is under 110). Everything will need to be provided by the parents, hoses, soap, buckets, sponges, brushes, towels, pop up tents and lawn chairs, students. Buy donation. Signs.
Fundraising genius - 2 week campaign Auction at the concert Talent Show - get talent in February, goofy students, teachers, & such. Bake sale at the spring concert. Jazz guest artist concert (compensation for artist?) Craft fair involvement - music in the corner, help with set up and tear down, IPG and band Concessions during wrestling?? Wenman Water balloon Challenge - pay to toss it at Matt.

We need advertising for audiences: reader board, inlander, school newsletter, feeder pattern, Spokesman, gorilla marketing with the fliers in the Shadle Plaza bathrooms.

IPG website management - Kary will be working work the website. Kary will work with Chris Dunn on the SPHS website with at least a link to Charms.
Treasurer’s report: Tax things - Sharon will file the non-profit corp annual report by 8/31 of each year with the WA State Corp & Charities division.
The current account balance (redacted). No transactions since 6/16/23.
Sharon has the lock box key and will check it every other Monday throughout the year.
Students pay $25. For cleaning fees.
In the 22-23 school year, the (redacted) for approx 56 repairs.
Future IPG meetings - the second Tuesdays of the month at 6pm, location TBD. Our goal is to recruit parents for events, not necessarily to attend IPG meetings.
Discussion ensued about garment bags. Especially if students take the uniforms home. Possibly raise the uniform fee to $27?
An update from Matt is pending for new instruments from a grant? The grand check will be written to Shadle Park HS IPG and mailed directly to Charlotte at her home. It hasn’t arrived yet.
Kary made the motion and Jon seconded: If Matt agrees, we will bulk purchase garment bags for the uniforms to arrive prior to 8/30, at no more than (redacted). Motion carried.
